It’s a charming blend of old and new, historic and hipster, offering discoveries around every corner.

But the real heart of Petaluma speaks to something much deeper. The Southgate Neighborhood offers a sense of Community where neighbors laugh, play and celebrate together.  They have their own Community Facebook Page where neighbors communicate and plan special events.  The neighborhoods is known for the Fourth of July parade and party, Easter egg Hunts, Halloween Trick or Treating and many other events throughout the year. The neighborhood used their community park as a gathering hub and place for socializing.  They also are in close proximity to many trails for hiking and exploring.
